Something old, something used...to create something new!
This weeks photo shoot consisted of something so exciting, having worked with Danielle Bloom once before (she was my first photography job in nashville!) we wanted to do something different this time. With her facination for fashion, and my LOVE for it,...she put all trust in me for the day. Experimenting with a few new things, creativity came into play with it as well...


Sometimes you have to go through a total loss of inspiration
to find what really inspires you again.


This was the final look, it was experimental...already excited about what we shot earlier- this needed to be just as striking. Natural light was no longer. Back to hair and makeup, I wanted to put her against my newly painted walls at home. With flash it still didn't work. Needed another lighting source.

Sleeping At Last was the first band I photographed live over four years ago in a small venue in downtown Denver. It was lovely to reunite with them here in Nashville recently. I am a huge fan of their work, if you get a chance listen to some tunes below...it is pure magic! For this shoot I used my Canon G10 as well as a Canon EOS 5D a friend let me borrow.
